FALL 2023 FASHION TRENDS TO WEAR NOW: SUMMER TO FALL TRANSITIONAL PIECES

With fall being one of the most exciting times of the year in fashion, who could hardly wait until the exact first day of fall to begin wearing the fashion? Good news is we don’t have to wait! So many of the fall fashion trends predicted for fall can be worn right now! Even if you don't plan to wear them now, now is the time to at least begin to prepare your wardrobe for fall.

I’m pretty sure by now you have already skimmed across a number of the trends being projected but just in case you need a hand in figuring out some of the ones worth wearing right now, you know I’ve got you covered.

Believe it or not the biggest challenge when suggesting fall trends isn't coming up with the list, but it's narrowing down which trends to include on the list. There are just so many!

Best part of it for me is many of the trends I’ll personally use to curate my fall 2023 wardrobe will initially begin with pieces I pull right from my closet!

As I mentioned in the previous post, this will be a season of "non-trendy trends." By that I mean many of the fall trends predicted consist of classic pieces, some of which are wardrobe staples. Perhaps I should speak for myself as the fashion junky I am, but because I’ve sought to have a capsulized trans-seasonal wardrobe, this may be the easiest trendy fall wardrobe I’ve curated yet!

The Shoulder Reveal

Almost everywhere you look you’ll find tops and dresses focused on the shoulders. You will likely have no problem finding such pieces for purchase but make sure you check your closet first because you may find that you already have pieces on par with this trend. See below for some ideas.

The Statement Shoulder

You will likely either really love or really hate this one -- think 80s shoulder pads x 2. And if that doesn’t ring a bell for you, think puffy statement sleeves. Pretty sure you’ll find something to takeaway from this trend.

Don’t focus so much on the exaggerated editorial looks you’ve likely seen on the designer runways or in the magazines since those may be a bit much for the girl seeking an everyday look. See below for more wearable pieces for right now!

If you don't already have at least one or two of these then these are a must get! Although already trending and projected to be a fall trend, you will find this to be a classic season to season staple in your wardrobe, trend or not.

This is another one of those "non-trend trends" in my opinion yet another must have staple for any wardrobe.

Hourglass Silhouettes

Whether you decide to go with a bodycon dress, an aline dress, or a peplum top, I believe this is a trend that could serve any and everyone.

Circle Skirts & Long Maxi Flares

Despite this being a fall trend prediction, this would be another one of those timeless pieces to add to any wardrobe, regardless of the season.

Tailored Blazers

By now we should all know how timeless a blazer is - and it really is one of the best pieces anyone can have in their wardrobe. While over the last few years we have become accustomed to more of an oversized blazer, the tailored blazer has never left the scene. However, this fall expect to see even more of the tailored embrace.

Whether you need to add to your blazer collection or do a wardrobe refresh, now is an opportune time because blazers tend to go quickly the closer we get to fall. There are a number of them to choose from below!
