<img src="summer to fall transitional fashion 2023-fashion-summer-fall-2023-fashion-transition-fashion-blogger-shesmeandher -"jpg" alt=easiest-summer-to-fall-2023-fashion-jpg" alt=2023+summer+fall+2023+fashion+women+fashion+wardrobe+transitions"  />

Ok so not to get too far ahead of ourselves when realizing there's still a bit of summer left to go, but with the current clothing options already promising such an easy summer to fall transition, who could hardly wait for the full on fall fashion?!

With focus on what to wear during the season to season transition, I actually find this to be one of the best times of the year for fashion. Why, you ask? Well because as a fashionista, you get the best of both worlds when considering all the clothing options.

Whether you're a lover of summer and its fashions or anticipatory of fall’s fashions, you don’t have to choose, you get to wear it all!

If this sounds like music to your ears then you’ll especially enjoy what I share next..

Should you be the girl who strives for a classic minimalist wardrobe or one that’s a bit more trendy, you will have no problem whatsoever with transitioning your wardrobe from summer to fall. Yes, even YOUR wardrobe!

What’s more is following the seasonal fashion transition, you should find that your fall wardrobe will just keep on giving! If you don’t see how any of this is doable, keep reading, I’ll make it all make sense for you!

First of all because we're entering into what seems to be a "non-trend" trendy error this fall, you likely already have a number of the clothing options you'll need to be fashion forward. This gives you a step up with the preparation. We'll dive a bit more into fall trends in the next post.

The only thing you’ll need to do to transition your current summer wardrobe to fall is swap out a few of your accessories, switch up some of your fabrics, and maybe add a layer or two and that’s it!

Need a few visual references? No worries, I’ve got you covered! From denim to skirts & dresses, scroll below to get a few examples of summer to fall transitional looks.

Denim

The following examples include adding a longer sleeve top, a cardigan, and the incorporation of foot wear that may add a bit more coverage. Of course this will all depend on the climate you're in as well as your own individual style and comfort.

Shorts

Yes, you can absolutely transition shorts into fall and continue to wear them throughout the fall season and maybe even into winter. Add stockings & panty hose, booties & boots, and of course other clothing layers.

Tip: Learning your body proportions and your most flattering body parts will dictate the style and length of the shorts you should choose when transitioning them from season to season. See the visual references below for a few examples and inspiration.

Dresses & Skirts

Dresses and skirts end up being among my favorites to transition because there's usually very little to no effort. Typically one simple change like swapping a sandal for a boot or bootie or by by placing a layer under or over a look will immediately signal the seasonal transition.

As always there's no need to take any of this too seriously. Your style is what YOU make it! It's fashion so don't forget to just have fun!!!
