HOW TO BUILD A SUMMER CAPSULE WARDROBE: KEY PIECES TO CONSIDER
From day parties to weddings to picnics and barbeques, summer tends to be one of our busiest seasons. With so much going on, we need a reliable wardrobe to take us from one activity and or event to the next and with very little to no fuss.
Not only is time of the essence but sometimes the budget is too! If this is you, I’ll spare you the patronizing expense and get right to it – a viable summer wardrobe is definitely in order! But not just any summer wardrobe, a Forever Summer Wardrobe or Summer Capsule. One that will cover just about any and every summer event that comes your way.
So what should you include in your summer capsule or your forever summer wardrobe? Keep reading – I’ve got you covered.
With just a few key pieces, you’ll have an all inclusive summer capsule wardrobe in no time! Great news is you may already have some of these key pieces in your closet.
Your key pieces will be your capsule baseline but the overall outfits you put together from your key pieces will be completed by your chosen accessories.
Now may also be an ideal time to invest in a few of your quality key pieces. I promise you as the summer continues and you enter into another summer season, you’ll see how beneficial the investment could be.
While I don't believe you'll need to spend a great deal of money to get key pieces you need for your summer capsule, you'll want to ensure the quality of your key pieces since you'll get so much wear out of them summer after summer - or at least that's the idea.
So what should your key pieces be, you ask? Well, I've put together a list of a few key baseline pieces that I believe will be a starting point for you. Great thing is you can always add to it and update it over time, as you choose.
