So winter basics, in case you were wondering, would include those “go to” pieces that we’ll likely get the most out of throughout the fall and winter seasons: leggings, sweaters, denim, comfy boots/booties, classic button downs, just to list a few.

An overall neutral aesthetic is perfectly fine and I am certainly always here for a neutral monochromatic look. However, just because many of our basics tend to be neutral doesn’t mean that we have to stay in that fashion neutral zone when wearing looks incorporating those basic pieces.

If you're wondering which items are considered basic in the looks below then I may have already made my point but keep reading..
By adding prints, patterns, pops of color, texture, and stylish layers, you’ll forget that you’re once again wearing that same pair of leggings, in addition to any of the other basics you may have worn, just a few days ago.
Not only will the basic you choose give you the practicality that you may have purchased it for but with the right accent pieces you’ll breath new life into a different look every time and maximize your wardrobe! After all that is always the goal isn’t it?
