STYLING WINTER FASHION BASICS TO NOT LOOK "BASIC"..
So winter basics, in case you were wondering, would include those “go to” pieces that we’ll likely get the most out of throughout the fall and winter seasons: leggings, sweaters, denim, comfy boots/booties, classic button downs, just to list a few.
I guess it should also be made clear that basics will look different for different people but nonetheless, these items will usually pair with a number of other items in your wardrobe and are also typically on par with what you’d include in your fall to winter capsule.
While most of us will go with neutrals for practicality, when it comes to choosing basics, that doesn’t mean that all of our looks incorporating said basics have to be just “basic.”
An overall neutral aesthetic is perfectly fine and I am certainly always here for a neutral monochromatic look. However, just because many of our basics tend to be neutral doesn’t mean that we have to stay in that fashion neutral zone when wearing looks incorporating those basic pieces.
