With just a bit of tweaking to ensure the looks I share are specific to you, these are go tos to keep in rotation fall through winter. They are not only practical for just about any lifestyle but they'll have you looking like a fashion it girl this season without even looking like you're trying.
1. Monochromatic Athleisure Wear
Now hold on don't turn away, because if you're anything like me you may be thinking you'd never invest in "sweats," but if my mind can be changed then so can yours. The right monochromatic athleisure outfit can be very practical in that it's extremely comfortable but it can also be styled a number of different ways, dressed up or down -- from being paired with sneakers or combat boots, to your favorite booties or pumps. Elevate it even more by adding a blazer or statement coat or jacket over it.
2. Classic Denim
We're not reinventing the wheel here. Every girl should own at the very least one to two pair of denim complimentary to their shape and style. Denim will never date and can be styled a number of different ways - especially during fall and winter. Style the right denim with a knee high or over the knee boot, booties, heels, combat boots, or sneakers.
3. Leather Anything
Leather is classic so it never necessarily went out of style but it's especially back in a big way this season. The options for a leather outfit are endless! 4. Cozy Colorful Knits
Whether it's a knit sweater or sweater dress, the options for these are endless. If you typically go with neutrals, maybe jump out of your comfort zone and add a colorful knit complimentary to your skin tone. Your mood, especially during the brisk winter days, will thank you!

Coats during winter are of course a no brainer. They not only provide the practical warmth we need, but make it a statement coat and it's like a winter cheat code, especially on days when you need to make a quick dive out the door.
