BLUSH, BLUSH AND MORE BLUSH! Pile on the #blush for spring. Whether you are looking to achieve a quick understated look or full fledged glam, blush is a great addition to any #springmakeup look for spring. I am recommending any one of KVD fabulous blush color choices. As a woman of color with a darker skin tone, it can be especially challenging to find the right blush but KVD seems to have gotten their formula right when it comes to tones complimentary for the darker hue.
LIP STAINS. Since we are still taking our masks on and off, wearing a full face of makeup just won't be ideal. However, if you are having one of those days where you are choosing to wear makeup, I've found that a lip stain is a great go to. Because it's a stain, it takes a bit more effort to take it off, making it a great and practical option when considering masks. Over the winter holidays, I purchased an @Sephora gift pack of lip stains and have been obsessed! They have a number of color options, including nudes, that I believe would work well on any skin tone. After wearing the lip stains over the last few months under my masks, I can attest that they are at least 85% smudge proof.
Nothing completes a spring outfit like the essence of a complimentary #springscent. While scent selections for many may vary, I think what's most important is finding scents that are best suited for your body chemistry. What may smell one way on one person may totally differ on another. Body chemistry is key. I prefer trying a sample of a scent to wear on a clean palate for a full day or so before making a purchase.
Sharing just a few of my favourite fragrances - this selection encompasses most of what I look for in fragrances that I purchase. Floral, fruity, citrus, powder fresh notes tend to be what captivates me most in a scent and these encompass many of those things at a fairly reasonable price point.
