Pretty sure there’s nothing ground breaking about how I transition many of the items I enjoyed wearing this past spring into this fall. I also find myself already gathering many of the items I have my eyes on for this upcoming spring and wearing those right now as well. And why not?
Despite being a person who likes to get the most out of all of my clothing items, hence I generally seek to wear just about everything in some way, year round; I’m finding that more often than not, I am reaching for a number of spring pieces and using fall accents to make them seasonable. From florals to minis, among other things, quite a few pieces from my spring wardrobe have already been on repeat.
In my last blog post I touched on the power of color and how it seems many of us are perhaps gravitating more to color to boost our moods amid the pandemic. Well this may certainly not only apply to colors we’re choosing to wear and may actually include a bit of anything that we can pull from when it comes to comfort and happiness.
There’s nothing like the anticipation of spring following a long overbearing winter, especially for those of us who reside in climates that experience extreme winters. I know I typically cannot wait to peel off layers and reach for different articles of clothing that include ones that are fun, flirty, whimsical, colorful, etc.
But why wait? There is no rule that says we can’t incorporate all of the things we anticipate from other seasons right now. And if there is a rule, well in fashion rules are meant to be broken. Wouldn't you agree?
This is what makes this fall’s fashion so great! It really is the perfect balance of a bit of everything from every season, especially for those of us who love fashion.
